Committee constituted in districts for submission of incentives in accounts of farmers

Chief Minister Krishak Samriddhi Yojana has been launched to enhance the productivity of major agricultural crops in the state, Gana, Mysore, Mustard and paddy and encourage Fair Average Quality (FAQ) quality production. In the Scheme, Rs.200 per quintal incentive amount will be credited to the farmer’s bank account on e-charged amounts through primary credit cooperatives at the minimum support value of wheat in paddy and rabi 2016-17. In addition, Rs. 265 per quintal incentive amount will be deposited in the account of farmers undertaking wheat at a minimum support price in Rabi 2017-18. This amount will be sold from 15 March to 26 May this year.

The instructions for the implementation of the scheme have been laid down under the Chairmanship of the Collector in the District. Dr. Rajesh Rajura, Principal Secretary, Kisan-Kalyan and Agriculture Development, has instructed the implementation of the scheme by writing a letter to the District Collectors. The Chief Executive Officer in the Implementation Committee, District Panchayat, Additional Collector Revenue, Sub-registrar Cooperative Institutions, District Food Officer, Chief Executive Officer District Central Cooperative Bank, District Manager Citizen Supply Corporation and District Manager Markfed has been incorporated as Member. The Member Secretary sub-conductive farmer-plan and agriculture development in the Committee is created.

The Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development has clarified that agricultural products have been sold below the minimum support value in the mandi or sold above the minimum support value, both in case the benefit of the Chief Minister Agronomous Prosperity Scheme will be given to the registered farmers. In the Rabi 2016-17, the minimum support value of the paddy in the wheat and Kharif 2017 will be provided to the operative farmer after verification and authentication of all farmer-wise databases provided. Rs.200 per quintal incentive amount will be provided to districts based on verified database.

The committee headed by the collector will examine the database of farmers. The incentive amount will be credited to the bank account of the farmers. This will be reported to farmers with SMS on mobile. The committee constituted under the Chairmanship of the Collector in case of any dispute or in case of any dispute shall be credited with the scheme in the newly authenticated bank account of the farmer within 15 days after local check.

The survey will also be conducted by the Institute of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sub-Governance and Policy Analysis to assess the satisfaction of farmers in the Chief Minister Samriddhi Scheme.
