Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the state government is committed to giving the farmers the value of their yield. He said that the Chief Minister will be purchased garlic and onion in the transfer payment scheme, while the stem of chana, lentil and mustard will be purchased at the minimum support price fixed by the Government of India.
Today, discussing the media in the Ministry, the Chief Minister said that the Government of India is considering implementing it for the country by adopting a positive stance on the Chief Minister’s Transfer Payment Scheme. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has formed Group of Ministers under the chairmanship of Shri Rajnath Singh to consider this. This group of miners will decide to apply it for the whole country by discussing the transfer payment scheme.
The Chief Minister said that the purchase of chana, lentil and mustard will be done at the support price. Purchase of garlic and onion will be under payment scheme. The Chief Minister said that despite the drought, these crops have been produced bumper in the state. The State Government is committed to giving the farmers a reasonable price of their yield.
The farmers who have made their registration for the crops of Chana, Mustard and Mysore in the payment scheme will remain valid for purchase at the registration support price. Farmers who are exempted from registering can purchase their registration at a minimum support price till 31 March. The government is committed to purchasing the crop at the support price. He said 24 March at 7.00 pm They will address the farmers of the state on this topic.
It is worth mentioning that the minimum support value of the fall by the Government of India is Rs 4400 per quintal, Rs 4250 per quintal and Rs 4000/- per quintal of mustard.
