The campaign of teaching and teaching of homeless, orphanage children will be carried out: Chief Minister Shri Chauhan

Bhopal: Saturday, July 29, 2017- Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the State Government will submit an assessment of the actions undertaken in the field of juvenile justice every year in order to act better in this direction. He said, ‘As helpless, homeless, orphanage’ campaign will be conducted by searching for orphan children. They will be protected. The Chief Minister was addressing the State Level Conference on Juvenile Justice and Capacity Development in the National Judicial Academy today.

Shri Chauhan said that such perpetrators will be taken strict action against the children who are exalted to commit offense. All collectors will be instructed to identify such children in their districts and give them a dignified life. Raising the responsibility of such children is the religion and duties of the Government. The Government is making effort in its part but it is remaining to do a lot.

The Chief Minister said that the efforts have been made to send the school to the Anath and the helpless children. He said that the changes in the circumstances in which children are constrained to commit offense are necessary. It is not possible without the cooperation of society. Measures like education arrangements, scholarships, cycles, filling talented children's fees are taken on behalf of the Government. Both the society and the government need to work together. To preserve the rights of orphan and helpless children, the society must also be connected. The State Government will honestly implement several disciplines of the Juvenile Justice Act.

Women’s Child Development Minister Smt. Archana Chitonis said that children, women and elders in Indian society have a great honour. He said that the society is also required to take initiatives to be sensitive and responsible for the issues of children. He said that the initiative will be initiated to guide children’s upbringinging and sanskars together with the Department of Universities and School Education.

The Supreme Court judge Shri Madan B. Lokur said that the adolescent should improve the available infrastructure of justice. Child Welfare Committees should be equipped with Information Technology. He said that teenage offenders have to create conditions worth returning to society. Skill development is a good choice. Also, their nutrition is essential. He said that if he thinks about the future, he will have to think about children. Civil Society can improve the work.

Judge Shri Lokur said that the services of specialists in society must be used for teenage children. The law of the police administration will also be sensitive to subjects related to juvenile justice. He insisted on establishing a vulnerable witness court that many states have taken the initiative in this direction. He said that all rights should be easier for justice. He appreciated the initiative of presenting an annual assessment of his work for adolescent justice by the State Government. Judge Shri Lokur said that there are no problems that children are in distress. The solution is possible for them.

Shri Hemant Gupta, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, said that children have to provide friendly environment and opportunities for learning. Shri Michael Juma, the state chief of UNICEF, also addressed. On the occasion, Judge Shri Lokur and Guests released the book of recommendations prepared by the Juvenile Justice Committee.

On the occasion, the President of the State Juvenile Justice Committee Judge Shri J.K. Maheshwari, the administrative judge of the Madhya Pradesh State Legal Service Authority Shri S.K. Seth, Representative of Judicial Service and Institutes and Organizations working in the field of Juvenile Justice were present. Shri Rohit Arya, a member of the Adolescent Justice Committee of Madhya Pradesh High Court, was grateful.
