Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that the Union Government is committed to procuring minimum support value (MSP) to ensure crop diversification and self-reliance in plant production.
देश में दालों के उत्पादन को बढ़ाने के लिए तत्काल ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता के अनुसार शुक्रवार को नई दिल्ली के कृषि भवन में विभिन्न राज्यों के कृषि मंत्रियों के साथ वर्चुअल बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि किसानों के पंजीकरण के लिए भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कृषि सहकारी विपणन संघ लिमिटेड (नेफेड) तथा भारतीय राष्ट्रीय सहकारी उपभोक्ता संघ लिमिटेड (एनसीसीएफ) के माध्यम से ई-समृद्धि पोर्टल शुरू किया गया है तथा सरकार पोर्टल पर पंजीकृत किसानों से एमएसपी पर इन दालों की खरीद करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने राज्य सरकारों से आग्रह किया कि वे अधिक से अधिक किसानों को इस पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करें ताकि वे सुनिश्चित खरीद की सुविधा का लाभ उठा सकें।
The Union Minister said that the country is not self-sufficient in the production of these three crops and aims to achieve self-reliance by 2027. Agriculture Minister appreciated the efforts of the States to increase 50 per cent in the production of pulses from 2015-16, but called for more efforts to increase yield per hectare and inspire farmers to cultivate pulses. He appreciated the fact that the country has acquired self-reliance in Mung and Chana and mentioned that the country has reduced import dependence from 30 percent to 10 percent during the last 10 years. He informed about the new ideal Dahan Gram Yojana starting from the existing Kharif season. The Union Minister requested the State Governments to use the Parti land available for the pulses after harvesting rice. He also called the inter-face of the trumpet from state governments in a vigorous manner.
कृषि मंत्री ने नकदी फसलों की ओर फसल विविधीकरण की आवश्यकता तथा मिट्टी की उर्वरता को बहाल करने की आवश्यकता के बारे में बात की। उन्होंने उत्पादकता बढ़ाने के लिए किसानों को समय पर तथा गुणवत्तापूर्ण इनपुट जैसे कि अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले बीज की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया तथा इस संबंध में अधिकतम सहायता का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले बीजों की उपलब्धता के लिए भारत सरकार ने 150 दलहन बीज हब खोले हैं तथा कम उत्पादकता वाले जिलों में आईसीएआर द्वारा क्लस्टर फ्रंट लाइन प्रदर्शन (सीएफएलडी) दिए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभावों का मुकाबला करने के लिए जलवायु अनुकूल किस्मों तथा कम अवधि वाली किस्मों को विकसित करने की आवश्यकता का उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने राज्य सरकारों से अनुरोध किया कि वे राज्य बीज निगमों को मजबूत करके अपने बीज वितरण प्रणालियों को मजबूत करें।
In view of the need for urgent attention to enhancing the production of pulses in the country, this meeting was called, so as to reduce imports. Agriculture Ministers of major pulse producer states such as Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Bihar, Telangana were present at the meeting. The State Governments applauded efforts being made by the Centre through National Food Safety Mission (NFSM) and assured full cooperation.
