Registration proceeds in 20 districts
Committee constituted for calculating cost price per hectare and per quintal
On the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the work of the clarification of garlic producers in the Bhattra Paksha Yojana in the state is commenced from 15 March. The function of the registration will be upto 31 March. The Collectors of 20 districts of the state have given necessary instructions regarding registration by writing the letter by the Chief Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Dr. Rajesh Rajura.
The registration of garlic-produced farmers will be carried out on the transfer payment scheme portal in primary agricultural credit committees of 20 districts of Garlic Boney over a thousand hectare and the Mandi committees. The 20 districts which will have the function of registration include Nimch, Ratlam, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Indore, Sea, Chhindwara, Shivpuri, Shajapur, Rajgarh, Chhatarpur, Agra-Malwa, Fold, Dhar, Dewas, Sihore, Riva, Satna, Bhopal and Jabalpur.
Constitution of Committee for Calculation of Agricultural Cost
The State Government has also constituted the Committee for Calculation of cost price per hectare and per quintal of agricultural and horticultural crops of Kharif and Rabi crops in the state. The first meeting of the Committee will be on March 15.
The Chairman of the Committee shall be Vice-Chancellor, Rajmata Vijayaraje Sindhiya, Agriculture University, Gwalior. Members of the Committee will be Secretary Director, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development. Other Member Commissioners of the Committee are the Department of State Agricultural Marketing Board, Managing Director, State Seed Certification Institutions. Principal Scientific Agricultural Economics Rajmata Vijayaraje Sindhia Agricultural University Gwalior has been incorporated as a special invite member. Other members of the Committee include Shri Om Thakur (Sivani), Shri Narayan Singh Patel (Nar Singhpur) and Shri Ashvini Singh Chauhan (Ujjain).
The Committee will present the State Government of Kharif and Rabi Crops in 7 days as per the calculation sheet of the State Government by calculating the average cost value of the quintal Madhya Pradesh and the average cost of the quintal Madhya Pradesh.
