The Central Government has issued notifications of CAA i.e. CAA. At the same time this law has been implemented across the country. CAA is called Citizenship Amendment Law in Hindi. This will make the way to get citizenship to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh Afghanistan.

• Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 (CAB) was introduced in Parliament for change in Indian Citizenship Law 1955.
• It passed in Rajya Sabha on 10th December 2019 and next day. On December 12, the President’s approval received CAA laws.
