As per the order issued by the State Government, eligible beneficiaries under the National Food Safety Act, 2013 shall be distributed a lump sum free of charge of three months without the ration of regular food grains from appropriate price stores. Chief Secretary Food Shri Faiz Ahmed Kidwai said that the ration will be disbursed by social dissensing and other precautions to prevent the spread of corona infection.
A lump sum ration free from April to June
The Ration Free lump sum month of April, May and June 2021 will be provided in April 2021 for families eligible under Ration Distribution. Those who have received the Ration of April and May will be provided free of cost of month June. The shops that lack ration will be reimbursed immediately. June’s Ration Stores Not Released There will also be reimbursement of Ration immediately.
POS machines will be from Ration distribution
Eligible interests as per order will be disbursed from POS machine only. The reasonable price will distribute the ration in their presence by appointing the Government Officer/Employee for ration distribution at the store and list of the stakeholders receiving the ration will be available to the District Supply Controller or Divisional Officer. Beneficiaries will also be acknowledged after Ration distribution.
Ration under Blessing Scheme to Old Age
The Ration under the Blessing Scheme has been arranged for the elderly and the said beneficiaries to be accessed by the nominee to their home. Also, beneficiaries will not facilitate portability. The ration will be given only after biometric verification if they want to benefit portability.
In view of the corona infection, the proper price will not rise to the store. For this, the store will be increased. The store will also be ensured open on time per day. Strict action will be taken when any kind of disturbances are found in distribution.
