Healthy food plate | The Nutrition Source |Chan School of Public Health

Harvard T. H. Chan School is a guide to prepare a balanced, healthy food plate made by editors of Nutrition Scientists, and Harvard Health Pablicanz, Nutritional Scientists of the Af Pabulic Health, and Healthy Food – Whether it is served in the plate, or put in a meal. Keep it on the fridge, let it remind you every day to make a healthy, balanced meal!

Make fruits and vegetables the biggest part of your food – Half plate volume: Try to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables. And remember that potatoes are not considered vegetables in a healthy meal plate, because eating potatoes has a negative effect on blood sugar, or blood glucose.

Eat ‘Hole Grains’, or whole grains – A Chaithai plate volume:

Whole wheat, barley, millet, juvar, jade, ‘brown rice’ or unprocessed rice, and foods made from them, such as whole wheat – bread made from maid, ‘wight rice’, and other processed grains have a low effect on blood sugar and insulin.

Power of Protein – A Chaithhai plate volume:

Fish, chickens, lentils, and walnuts are sources of healthy and versatile protein – These can be inserted into the Salad, and it goes well with the vegetables. Red meat should be eaten less, and processed meats, such as ‘Becon’ and ‘Saasez’ should stay away.

Healthy Plant Oils or Vegetable Oils – Medium Volumes:

Choose healthy vegetable oil, such as olive or ‘Olive’, canola, soybeans, sunflowers, peanuts, mustard, etc. oils, and stay away from ‘lateral hydrogenated’ oils, as these contain unhealthy ‘trans fat’. Remember that only having low or zero fat doesn’t "health" foods.

Drink water, tea, or coffee:

Stay away from sweet lips, eat only one or two servings in the day of milk and other foods made of milk, and drink a small glass of fruit juice over the day.

Stay active:

On the placemat of healthy food plate, it is necessary to remind you that it is necessary for weight balance.

The main message of healthy food plate is about the "Dytery Qualti", or the quality of the diet.

It is important to think more about the amount of carbohydrates that we eat in our diet, as some sources of carbohydrates – such as vegetables (other than potatoes), fruits, whole grains, and lentils – are more healthy than other sources.
Healthy food plate also tells people to stay away from sweet lips, which are filled with blossoms, or "caloriz" – And usually these are less nutritional.
Healthy food plate encourages people to eat healthy "Vegetable Oil" and has no upper limit on the consumption of "Fats" met with healthy sources.
