Grow what’s next. Grow your future. Corteva Agriscience is seeking Crop Health R&D (CHRD) Field Sciences Interns to participate in a 3-6-month internship! Corteva sponsors a Several field research locations in California. These areas have different fields of crop protection/health products. As a CHRD field sciences, you will have the opportunity to obtain diverse experiences across crop protection.
Depending on the location but usually the summer for three to six months. Locations include: Woodland, CA, Bakersfield, CA, Salinas, CA, and other California locations.
What You’ll Do
You will work as part of a The following areas: field management, product characterization, phenotyping practices with crop protection, and/or digital ag projects.
You will assist Field Scientists at either one of our dedicated research centres or research centres Home-office environment in the structure geographic region.
Intern positions provide excellent experience that can be applied to full-time positions in the industry, or in preparation for additional graduate level training in the field sciences.
What You’ll Bring
- Priority will be given to students that are at least current sophomores at an accredited university. Interns can be undergraduate or graduate students.
- Educational focus in Agronomy, Plant Physiology, Plant Pathology, Genetics, Biology, Horticulture, Entomology, Weed Science, or a related agricultural field highly desired
- Agricultural background beneficial
- Preference will be given to students with a Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be enrolled for the upcoming semester at an accredited university at the time of internship
- You need to have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and must be able to pass drug and criminal background checks
The price range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00.
This role is based on this role. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate eligibility, actual base pay is determined when an employment request is made.
