Prime Minister's Employment Plan-Industry

Objective-To provide self-employed by establishing self-service/business to educated berozgar youths.

Scheme Format and Vertical- The scheme is sanctioned for all economically qualified activities, including agriculture and auxiliary activities. Loans are not given in this scheme for activities like cultivation of crops, purchase of manure etc. directly in agriculture sector.

Composite nature loan can be sanctioned up to Rs.2.00 lakh in service/business sector and up to Rs.5.00 lakh in industry sector. If two or more eligible persons for project operation are jointly included in the partnership plan and in the self-help group, the maximum project cost can be Rs.10 lakh. The grant scheme is 15 per cent of the cost maximum Rs. 12500/- per beneficiary. The self-help group consists of Rs. 15000/- to 1.25 lakh per beneficiary. The normal bank interest rate is taken on the loan. After the initial postponement of the prescribed six to 18 months, the repayment of the loan is required in a period of three to seven years. It is imperative to take training of 10-15 days to the selected educated unemployed in the scheme. The proceeding of loan delivery is carried out only after training. During the training there is a provision of scholarship from Rs 375/- to Rs 750/-. The scheme is applicable in all districts of Madhya Pradesh.

English Beneficiary- Age of the applicant is not less than 18 years and above 35 years. Only SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, physically handicapped and female applicants are exempted from 10 years in maximum age limit.

Applicants pass at least eighth class. Preference is given to applicants who have received at least six months of trade training from recognized/approved entities by the Government. Annual income of the applicant’s family is not more than Rs.1.00 lakh. The applicant is a permanent resident of the area for at least three years.

Applicants are not a defaulter of any nationalised bank/financial institution/co-operative bank. A person who has benefited in the former of the government’s grant related scheme is unqualified for the scheme.

There is provision of reservation to SC, ST, other backward classes and women in the benefit of the scheme.

Interests Selection Process- The District Level Task Force Committee on Applications received at the District Trade and Industry Centres recommends the selected episodes to the nationalised banks.

Scheme Procedure of Implementation- Applications are invited on the prescribed format in the District Industry Centre by adhering in local newspapers or propagating by plain authorities.

Deendayal Employment Scheme

Objective-The educated unemployed youth/ youth of the state is to assist in depositing the expected margin money against loans given by banks/financial entities for self-employment establishment in the field of industry/service/business.

HomeNatives of Madhya Pradesh are applicants aged between 18 to 40 years, 10th class or ITI passed, annual income from all sources of the family is not more than 1.50 lakh, living registration in the employment office is eligible for the scheme.

Margin Money Support- The project cost sanctioned by the Bank/Finance Institution can be sanctioned by 10 per cent maximum of Rs. 40000/- in the industry area of Rs. 7.5 per cent maximum of Rs. 15000/- and five per cent maximum of Rs. 7500/- in the business sector. Applicants whose educational qualifications are undergraduate or higher will be eligible for a maximum of Rs 50000/- for the industry and Rs 25000/- for the service sector. Margin money assistance will not exceed 50 per cent as planned by the beneficiary. Application Procedure The free application form will be submitted along with the copy of the project profile/plan of the proposed activity to the District Trade and Industry Centre of the respective district.

Rani Durgawati Anu. Caste / Janjati Self Employment Scheme

Loans are provided by the Financial Institutions to initiate self-industry service and business. In order to establish the interest in self-employment, the margin money itself is required, they are unable to invest the amount. In that case they are assisted as margin money.

Interests Eligibility & Priority Under this scheme, the interest of SC/ST of the State will be eligible. Applicant 1. M.P. is native. 2. Age 18 to 50 years. 3. A minimum of 5th Class is passed from any Government/Guarantee School. 4. Applicants received the unemployment allowance of the State Government shall prefer the trained applicants under the Multipurpose Engineer Scheme of Technical Education and Training Department. 5. Annual income of the family is not more than Rs 3.00 lakh.

Scheme Procedure of implementation- The application form is invited on the prescribed format in the District Industry Centre by providing advertisements in local newspapers or promotions by the plain authorities.

Margin Money Eligibility- The total sanctioned project under the scheme is made available as a margin money grant of 30 percent of the cost or Rs 15 lakh whichever is lower. The beneficiary is also assisted for training.
