Award Scheme for Enhancing Grain Inward in Agriculture Yield Mandi

The farmers who come to sell the crop in agricultural produce pavilions of the state are providing a variety of facilities by the Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board. The farmers can get food in the agricultural produce Mandi campus in a convenient way after selling their crop, for the farmers welfare and the Department of Agriculture Development has also conducted a meal scheme at a discounted rate in Mandi Praangana.

In the concessional rate food scheme, Rs. 5 to farmers are being provided at the rate of Rs. 5 plate to farmers in 257 agricultural yields. The Mandi Board has given a sum of more than Rs. one crore for the operation of the scheme to the agricultural yield pavilions as a grant. The food system at the concessional rate of farmers is being carried out by its own sources by the Mandi committees of the state’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ category. While the grant amount is being given by the State Government for food arrangements in ‘c’ and ‘d’ categories.

Agricultural Marketing Awards Scheme

Farmers of the state sell their produce in the Mandi campus, for this, Agricultural Marketing Award Scheme is being undertaken by Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board. The scheme draws on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti and Balram Jayanti twice a year in the Agricultural Produce Mandi Committees.

The winner farmers are given 35 Horse Power Tractors and ‘B’, ‘G’ and ‘D’ in the ‘D’ category of ‘A’ in the state’s ‘C’ category. In addition, farmers are also given cash prizes in the pavilions. In the last two years, 880 farmers have been given prize incentives of Rs. Dand crore.

Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board is a three-tier institution headquartered in Bhopal and 7 Zonal Offices in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Sea, Jabalpur and Rewa. 257 delegations and 287 delegations are employed in the state. The number of hot-markets in the state is 1321.
