This year the support value of wheat has been declared as Rs.1735 per quintal.
Chief Minister informed that 67.25 lakh metric tonnes of wheat were e-equipped at support price in Rabi 2016-17. It will pay Rs.1340 crore to 7.38 lakh farmers. Similarly, 16.59 lakh Metric Ton Dhan E-e-evaluation was made at the support price in Kharif 2017, which would pay Rs.330 crore to 2.83 lakh farmers.
The rain will replenish the loss of farmers. Wheat support value is increased by Rs.300 and is now quintalized per 2000. The Government has decided to continue the transfer payment scheme, however, a major change has given a great relief to the farmers. Farmers will now be able to sell their produce according to their convenience.
These are the major announcements of the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan at the Kisan Sammelan in Jamburi Maidan, Bhopal. At this Farmer Conference, the Chief Minister disbursed the amount of transfer scheme to farmers and the certificates of transfer scheme. Large announcements were being expected by the government in the event of elections in the year. The Chief Minister transferred Rs. 620 crore of transfer payment scheme in accounts of 4 lakh farmers. CM transfers these money online to farmers’ accounts by clicking on the platform.
In his address, CM Shivraj took a note that the crop loss from rain will be compensated in the state. The BJP government of the state stands with farmers. The loss of farmers will be compensated by the government by adding the amount of relief and the amount of crop insurance scheme.
Will continue with revenge
The Government has made a major change with the consent of the farmers while deciding to continue the transfer payment scheme. CM announced that farmers will be free to sell their produce. They can sell their yields from 1 to 4 months. They will be able to keep in storehouse authorized by the Government. The rent will be filled by the government.

CM has also decided to set wheat support value Rs.2000. Now it is Rs 1700 per quintal. Also CM also decided to give a bonus of Rs.200 per quintal on wheat and rice sold last year. For this, CM announced the Chief Minister Productivity Incentive Scheme that the bonus and wheat and rice rates will be fixed under this scheme.
No loan waiver
The conference expected loan waiver to farmers. However, CM made no announcement regarding loan waiver. CM said that the government will not waive the debt of the farmers but instead they will be given reasonable prices. The interest of the farmers will be filled with the Government of the two thousand crores. He said that the defaulter is the farmer and has not been able to pay the loan for some reason They also get interest at zero percent. The government is soon bringing the Chief Minister Loan Solution Scheme.
CM also announced that the government will spend 1 lakh crore on irrigation. The Government of Uttar Pradesh will lay the bats of Chambal at a cost of 1200 crores over the next 5 years and the land will be given to small farmers for cultivation.
Rupay Card
The credit card of government farmers will be changed to Rupay Card. This card can be used as ATM card. Farmers will also be able to withdraw money. CM announced that ATMs will be arranged in the 4523 Cooperative Credit Committee.
CM will take a grading and packaging plant in 50 Mandi, making large announcements so that farmers can get proper prices of their produce. The Government will show the rate of other pavilions of the country through the price ticker in 150 pavilions.
The conference consisted of Assembly President Sithara Sharma, BJP President Nandkumar Singh Chauhan, Former Chief Minister Babulal Gaurav, Minister Gaurishankar Bisen and other ministers.
