Ratlam, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched the second phase of the knocking campaign in a program held in Jawara, Ratlam district. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country, which has knocked home-house against malnutrition by making a joint team of the Women-Bal Development and Public Health and Family Welfare Department to end malnutrition in children. The Chief Minister also distributed special ‘Dastak Kit’ to the formed parties of the campaign. These teams will check-up children by visiting home through the kit and give therapeutic advice. The first phase of the campaign took place in 2016 from 16 to 30 November.
In the campaign, all children under the age of five years of the state have a blood loss check, the identification of severe malnourished children from six months to five years and a solution of vitamin A to children from nine months to five years. As well as children suffering from diarrhea, pneumonia and congenital diseases, they will be given free check treatment and transport service.
