Bhopal: The State Government has instructed to give 50 percent waiver to persons with disabilities in all prakraman bus services in the state. This will be exempted when you show the ID card to the disabled person.
The Transport Commissioner has directed all the Regional, Additional Regional and District Transport Officers of the State to give the benefit of 50 per cent of the rent on submission of Unique Disabilities I.D. cards issued by the Central or State Government as a certificate of Persons with Disabilities Enabled Authority.
It is noteworthy that UNIC ED for Persons with Disabilities (UD) project is being run by the Central Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. UDID cards are being provided to the disabilities. Through the card, various schemes of Divyang Kendra and State Government can be availed. In the UDID card manufacturing, the Madhya Pradesh is ranked first in the country.
