The new Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh can be on Thursday
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said however the newly elected legislators have authorized the Party President Rahul Gandhi to choose the Chief Minister, but the party is taking the opinion of every elected legislator.
Rahul Gandhi has appointed supervisors of these states. AK Antony has been appointed as an observer of Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh, Mallikargun Khadge, Chhattisgarh and KC Venugopal.
In Madhya Pradesh, Kamalnath and Jyotirudita Sindhiya are being considered in the race of CM, while the name of Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan is in the discussion of the Chief Minister.
KCR will take oath of Chief Minister's post
Chandrashekhar Rao, head of Telangana Nation Committee i.e. TRS will sworn on Thursday as Chief Minister of State
This will be the second consecutive tenure of KCR. Chandrashekhar Rao will take the oath of the Chief Minister’s post at the event held at 1.30 pm at Raj Bhavan.
Governor ESL Narasimhan will swear them to post and privacy. The newly elected MLAs of TRS had elected their leader to KCR at a meeting at TRS HQ Telangana Bhawan on Wednesday.
The TRS chief said to reporters after the meeting that the Election Commission has to issue a Gazetted Notification, so it may take a few days in the formation of the entire Cabinet. He said he will swear on Thursday with his colleague.
