Annual income of more than one and a half lakh per acre
Krishak Om Prakash has been used by cultivation of vegetable and masala crops. Om Prakash Jat, Village Nimora, Nasrullaganj Tehsil, Siher district, is having an income of 30 to 40 lakhs annually from 25 acres of cultivation. They get 4 lakhs from the cultivation of coriander, 20 to 25 lakhs from the chili and 30 to 35 lakhs from the cultivation of Karel. Withdrawal of expenses, about 30 to 40 lakh net income is being taken. Krishak Om Prakash has succeeded in four times the income from farming using the new technology of farming.
A number of schemes are being undertaken by the Central and State Governments in order to create the benefit of cultivation and double the income of farmers. It is being promoted to cultivate horticulture crops with traditional cultivation.
Krishak Shri Om Prakash reported that he had 25 acres of land, in which he first cultivated wheat, chana and soybeans. During time, the production of these crops decreased and the increase in cost, they received a sum of Rs 8 to 10 lakhs in one year. Om Prakash was suggested to cultivate vegetable by the Department of Agriculture in order to increase income from farming.
Krishak Om Prakash put Karela in 5 acres this year and 6 acres of land. Plant 61 thousand plants of two varieties of pepper. Drip irrigation, mulching, plant protection and medicines cost Rs 7 lakh 50 thousand. Om Prakash reported that 1000 quintal peppers have been produced yet and 500 quintals have more estimates. Thus they are likely to produce 20 to 25 lakhs from the pepper. Yet 15 lakhs have been produced by Omlight.
Kisan Om Prakash put a wealth in 3 acres at a cost of Rs 50 thousand, with a sell of 450 quintal green coriander 4.5 lakh. They are likely to produce 30 to 35 lakhs after harvesting in 6 acres of Karle. Om Prakash has planted onions in 5 acres, which is likely to produce 700 quintels. It is thus possible to produce 50 to 70 lakhs in 20 acres, thereby achieving 30 to 40 lakh net income. Farmers have become inspiration source for Om Prakash farmers. He has made the cultivation a four-acting benefit.
