Madhya Pradesh becomes the first state of the country in digital transactions in Gram Panchayats

Union Minister of State Dr. Vijayendra Singh presented this award at the 21st National e-Governance Conference held in Hyderabad. Shri Radheshyam Julania, Society Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development of the State, Sanchalak, Panchayat State Directorate Shri Shameam Udden Senior Technical Director, NIC Shri Sunil Jain received this award. Union Minister Dr. Vijayendra Singh has said an exemplary initiative for Panchayati Raj Arrangement, appreciating this innovative effort of the state.
Panchayat and Rural Development Department using the latest technology of information technology to facilitate, transparent, reliable and responsive the functioning of Gram Panchayats in the state has made an innovative initiative by creating a Panch God portal through the National Informatics Centre (NIC)| This initiative will prove to be milestone to effectively implement the process of digital and hairstyle transactions by the end end end of the village under the Digital India campaign of the Government of India. The department using the Panch God Portal has displayed all the work behavior of Gram Panchayats in the public domain. One bill wise details of all the amounts and their expenses received from Gram Panchayats are available on Panchparameshwar portal. The payment arrangement of Gram Panchayats is fully capped. The digital transaction has been initiated from the back accounts of Gram Panchayats through the state NIC.
The Madhya Pradesh is the first state of the country to adopt this system. In this payment system, Gram Panchayats enter the expenses incurred by them on the Panch God portal. Immediately sends the back to the payment by locking the e-payment order with the One Time Password to the mobile number of the Sarpanch and Secretary of Gram Panchayat. This e-Payment order is transmitted by NIC’s server for payment on the bank’s server. The servers of NIC and 8 nationalised banks have been integrated. The details of the payment are also available on the portal as well as the bank is paid.
All financial records of Gram Panchayats are automatically available with this payment system. They will not need to prepare hairstyles, lasers, etc. records from the processor. The Gram Panchayats of the State are fully functioning as paperless and cashless Panchayats. The actual status of all the work done by Gram Panchayats, their level and photographs are available on portal and app with GPS location. In essence, the Panch God portal is proven to be useful for them as an e-office of Gram Panchayat. Today, Madhya Pradesh is involved in the states where the working system has been digitally converted from Ministry to Gram Panchayat.
