Details of Dry Status and Transfer Payment Scheme
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan today met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in New Delhi and conveyed the state of dry originated in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister informed that 13 districts of the state and 12 tehsils have been declared dry. The committees have been constituted by the State Government for the assessment of the loss from the drought which will be surveyed to submit their reports. State Government is helping farmers with their resources. Shri Chauhan urged the Central Assistance to deal with the fear of drought from the Prime Minister.
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan detailed the Prime Minister regarding the ongoing Chief Minister Kisan Bhattar Paid Scheme in the state. He told farmers some products like soybeans, Mung, Ordn's sales expressions also get less than the support price released. This does not give farmers the proper price of their crop. The amount of this difference will be deposited directly through the scheme in the account of the Government farmers to get the appropriate value of their crop to the farmers. Shri Chauhan said that this scheme will be started in the state from 16 October 2017. Farmers have to register in this scheme. Shri Chauhan expressed hope that the Centre and the State Transfer Payment Scheme as well as the country’s farmers will get the appropriate value of the crop. Prime Minister Shri Modi has greatly appreciated the scheme.
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan told the Prime Minister that the power of the State GovernmentThe road, toilet, housing, gas connection, education etc. is gaining common man through various Central and State plans. The Chief Minister urged that drinking water will be planned to provide drinking water to the general public through tap water scheme by the Central Government to get rid of drinking water problem. Shri Chauhan told the Prime Minister that the amount of Rs 48 hundred crore has been spent in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state so far.
Foreign Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj met
CM Shri Chauhan today met his office in New Delhi from Union External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj. Shri Chauhan congratulated Mrs Swaraj to put India in a vigorous manner in the UNO and appreciated the speech in the UNO. The Chief Minister also informed the External Affairs Minister about the transfer payment scheme being run for preservation of the interests of farmers in the state.
