Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan will deliver Rs 300 crore bank loans to members of self-help group formed in the State Rural Livelihood Mission on February 8. Also, the self-help group of certain districts will communicate virtual from members. Group members at Gram Panchayat level in all districts in this virtual program that takes place at 10:30 pm at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium will join different virtual mediums. Shri Ramsamevan Patel, Minister of State for Panchayat and Rural Development, will also be present in the programme.
The financial assistance of Rs 2,762 crore as a bank loan has been provided by adding more than 40 lakh rural poor families from the livelihood mission so far in the state. The Department of Panchayat and Rural Development has been continually executing virtual programmes from the time of lockdown to strengthen the economic status of rural families in the corona period. The group members will increase the income by further strengthening their current livelihoods, thereby opening the gates of their prosperity and improving their economic and social levels in advance.
It is worth mentioning that women members of poor families residing in rural areas are being social and economic empowered by self-help groups. The availability of adequate bank loans for self-help groups has been made easier by the State Government to coordinate comprehensively with banks with the aim of simplifying the banking service process.
The intensive monitoring and transparent process is created with submission through the Bank Loan Case Software of Self Help Groups. Bank branches have also been identified by the Mission to facilitate banking services, which are collaborating with group members in rural areas in bank related functions.
