The ceremony will be on the Red Parade Grand of Bhopal
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan will deliver the amount of laptop to the student students at the meritorious student incentive ceremony under the meritorious student incentive scheme on June 28. The laptop amount distribution program will be 12 pm.
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan will be present in ceremony as Chief Guest. Shri Gopal Bhargava, Minister of State for School Education in the event, Shri Lal Singh Arya, Minister of State for School Education Shri Deepak Joshi and Aditya-Jati and Minister of State for Scheduled-Jati Welfare, Shri Lal Singh Arya will also be present.
In the event, 18 thousand 578 students of government and non-governmental schools will be distributed a sum of Rs.46 crore 44 lakh 50 thousand to buy the laptop with a value of Rs.25 thousand per student. Students benefitted in the meritorious student incentive scheme include 5,873, 2,373 students from Scheduled-Janzati class, 5,617 of other backward class and 4,715 students of the general class.
The student who receives 85 per cent or more marks in the Higher Secendary examination is given the amount for the laptop by the Board of Secondary Education in the event. The amount for SC and SC students is being given to buy the laptop if they have 75 percent or more marks in the Higher Secondary examination.
