Chief Minister Shri Chauhan launched the virtual launch of summer mung purchase
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that our government will give the entire price of the farmers sweat. The State Government is committed to double the income of the farmers, making the cultivation of benefits. That’s why the purchase was announced at the support price of the summer mung taken with hard work on June 8. The process of procurement is being initiated at the War level. Chief Minister Shri Chauhan was launching a virtual procurement process of Summer Mung from the Ministry. Shri Kamal Patel, Minister for Agriculture and Agriculture Development, Agriculture Production Commissioner Shri K.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Ajit Kesari and other officers were present on the occasion. Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that the Minister of Agriculture Shri Kamal Patel is eligible to congratulate Shri Kamal Patel, Officer of the Department of Agriculture, Collector of Districts and Medi Amla to initiate the process of registration and purchase in a short time. Chief Minister Shri Chauhan also interacted with the farmers of districts.
Complete arrangement of rainwater at the purchased centres
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that the summer mung purchase in rainy is hard work. Farmers have produced a record of mung by diligence in the summer months. The demand for higher production was decided to purchase mung at the consequent support price of lowering. With this decision, the price of the moong remains constant. In view of the rainy season, the purchased centres have been built in places where the mung will be saved from growing.
Up to 2 lakh 32 thousand farmers registered
Shri Kamal Patel, Minister of Farmer-Calyan and Agriculture Development, informed that more than 6 lakh 82 thousand hectares have been sanctioned in the region in the state. So far 2 lakh 32 thousand farmers have registered. The first five districts that make the most registration are respectively Hoshngabad, Harida, Narsinghpur, Sihore and Jabalpur. Announcing the support value of Rs 7,196 per quintal has received great relief to farmers.
The Youth of the IT sector is cultivated
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan interacted with Mung producer farmers of Hoshangabad, Harida and Jabalpur. Shri Santosh Kumar Raghuvanshi of Hoshangabad said the canal has been produced more than expected. Mr. B.D. Argeria of Jabalpur said that the farmers are waived by the schemes of Dalhan Vikas. Several young people in the field as a result of the government’s farmer interest policies that went to Hyderabad, Pune and Bengaluru for job in the IT sector. They are back to their villages and adopting the beneficial cultivation of paddy, chana, fly and mung.
