Planting more than 6 crore plants on July 2
After a visit to Narmada to provide a paved basis to the river conservation, especially the river conservation of Narmada, on July 2, the largest elite of the century of planting 6 crore plants in the total 24 districts of Narmada along the banks of both the coast in Madhya Pradesh and the waterfall area of the river will be done. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan has so far decided to operate the plant planting work carried out by the government as a mass study on the lines of Narmada Yatra. The preparation of Mahavraksharopana was made in line with this decision. The preparations will be calculated as the World Record of Plantation on July 2, when one day will take 6 crore plants. Narmada Basin Area
The total length of the Narmada river is 1312 km. The total length of the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh is 1079 km, which is 82.24 percent of the total length. Narmada river basin is spread over 98 thousand 796 square kilometres. The Madhya Pradesh is also part of 86.19 per cent i.e. a total of 85 thousand 149 square kilometres.
Madhya Pradesh will take place in 24 districts of Narmada Basin
The Narmada basin has 24 districts of Madhya Pradesh. These include Dindori, Mandala, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Hoshangabad, Raisen, Sehor, Harida, Dewas, Khandwa, Khargon, Dhar, Badwani, Alirajpur, Anuppur, Balaghat, Katani, Damoh, Sagar, Sivani, Chhindwara, Betul, Indore and Burhanpur District.
6 crore plants have to be planted in one day plantation on 2nd July, 2017 in these districts of the Catchment Area of Narmada River. This important task of plantation will be carried out in forest areas, schools, colleges, courtesy of government offices, other community lands and private lands.
Plantation of the Government and Society
Plantation will have the role of Forest, Rural Development, Agricultural Gardens, Urban Administration, School Education, Higher Education Department, Jan-Abhiyan Council and other Government Department. One day this plantation has been motivated to attend all officers/employees of all departments of governance. It has been ensured to participate in the tree plantation of the postal officer-employee at Bhopal Headquarters, District Headquarters level, Development Section and Village level. Online registration was arranged for participating in plantation. As per www.namamidevinarmade.mp.gov.in On private individuals, government institutions, social and religious institutions, women's circles, clubs etc. have made a registration to join the tree. Registration was made online by 5 lakh 89 thousand people in case of 28 June 2017.
Plants required for planting are being arranged from the Forest Department, Department of Horticultures and private plantings. The essential fruity plants are also derived from other states. All departments have virtually completed according to their goals to plant the pit excavation work. Officers/Employees are deployed at each planting site for verification of plant seedlings.
The main species to be planted
Teak in plantation about 20 percent, Boss 15 percent, medicinal plants such as Ovla, Arjuna, Bell, Neem Harra, Drifter etc. 20 percent, fruity plants such as berries, jams, cetafruit, lemons, mango, pomegranate, mulberry etc. In the 5 percent area, other miniature plant species such as mahua, tamarind, pickles, kullu, cusum etc. In the 5 percent area and in the Saja, Siras, Surjna, Cuthal, People, Bargad, Stepba etc species will be planted in the 35 percent area.
World Record
In the districts of the Narmada Basin area/Cachment area, the tree plantation work carried out on July 2 has been prepared to maintain a world record. Plantation Assessment and Monitoring System
After planting plants planted in this Mahavraksharan program, their evaluation and monitoring are also arranged. In this arrangement, the Jobcarded families of the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme have been made a skew protector. Wages will be paid from 03 to 05 years to keep the plant sustainable and living. The amount has been provided for supervision of Gram Panchayats. At the same time, the quality of the plant works will be inspected through monitors. Forest Department will make regular retention of plants through the Departmental Scheme. In addition, conservation of plants will also be undertaken through NGOs, self-help groups, schools and social institutions.

On July 2, 2017, the target of planting 667 lakh 50 thousand plants in the 24 districts of Narmada Cachment has been set. Out of these, 10.50 lakh plants in the district, 33 lakhs in Dindori, 50 lakhs in the congregation, 42 lakhs in Jabalpur, 6 lakhs in Katni, 15 lakhs in Indore, 37 lakhs in Dhar, 30 lakhs in Alirajpur, 45 lakhs in Devas, 25 lakhs in Sihore, 35 lakhs in Raisen, 55 lakhs in Hishangabad, 46.50 lakhs in Harda, 25 lakhs in Betul, 16 lakhs in Khadwara
The nature-provided forest cover has been found to be God’s blessing. On July 2, Madhya Pradesh is being witnessed the history of man-made greenness.
