The aim behind this initiative will be to enhance awareness, facilitate the exchange of knowledge, promote cooperation and empower farmers
Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Minister of Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched a jointly developed web portal by Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW) and NABARD to automate and accelerate the process of settlement of interest grant claims submitted by banks under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF). On the occasion, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shri Bhagirth Choudhury, Chairman of NABARD, Department of Farmers Welfare and senior officers of banks were also present.
इस अवसर पर संबोधित करते हुए केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि मोदी सरकार किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के लिए विभिन्न उपाय कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि कृषि अवसंरचना कोष को पीएम मोदी द्वारा 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये की फंडिंग के साथ लॉन्च किया गया था ताकि फसलों के भंडारण की क्षमता बढ़ाई जा सके और किसानों के नुकसान को कम किया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि नए लॉन्च किए गए क्रेडिट दावों के स्वचालन से दावों का निपटान एक दिन के भीतर सुनिश्चित हो जाएगा, जो अन्यथा मैन्युअल निपटान के लिए महीनों लगते थे। उन्होंने कहा कि इस कदम से पारदर्शिता भी सुनिश्चित होगी और भ्रष्ट तरीकों पर रोक लगेगी। श्री चौहान ने कहा कि किसानों के अनुभव साझा करने वाले नए पोर्टल से किसान समुदाय एक-दूसरे के अनुभवों से लाभान्वित हो सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि कई किसान स्वयं प्रयोग कर रहे हैं और उनकी सफल कहानियों को दूसरों के लिए अनुकरणीय बनाने के लिए आगे लाना चाहिए। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि आज तक कृषि अवसंरचना कोष के तहत 67,871 परियोजनाओं के लिए ₹43,000 करोड़ पहले ही स्वीकृत किए जा चुके हैं, ₹72,000 करोड़ के निवेश को जुटाया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, बैंक ब्याज सबवेंशन दावों के त्वरित निपटान की उम्मीद कर सकते हैं।
श्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने बताया कि स्वचालित प्रणाली पोर्टल के माध्यम से सटीक पात्र ब्याज अनुदान की गणना में मदद करेगी, जिससे मैन्युअल प्रसंस्करण में संभावित मानव त्रुटि से बचा जा सकेगा और दावों का तेजी से निपटान भी होगा। इस पोर्टल का उपयोग बैंक, कृषि और किसान कल्याण विभाग (DA&FW) का केंद्रीय परियोजना प्रबंधन इकाई (CPMU) और NABARD करेंगे। ब्याज अनुदान दावा और क्रेडिट गारंटी शुल्क दावा प्रसंस्करण का स्वचालन सरकार को सटीक ब्याज अनुदान जारी करने, बदलाव का समय को कम करने और बदले में किसानों और कृषि उद्यमियों को वित्तीय रूप से मदद करने और उन्हें देश में कृषि के विकास के लिए अधिक परियोजनाएं लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने में मदद करेगा।
Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan also launched the Krishi narrative, a blogsite working as a digital platform to display the voice of Indian farmers, dedicated to promoting the experiences, insights and success stories of farmers across the country.
Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that in the vast and diverse landscape of Indian agriculture, farmers’ voices and stories often remain unattended. Every crop, behind every farm and every crop, hides the story of perseverance, struggle, challenges and triumph. The aim of "Agricultural Story" is to provide a comprehensive and live narrative platform where India’s agricultural community stories can be shared and celebrated.
The Union Minister said that the agriculture narrative is an important step towards identifying and enhancing the voice of our farmers. He stressed that the stories of his perseverance and innovation are the foundations of our agriculture sector and expressed confidence that this platform will become a source of inspiration for others. This initiative will help increase awareness, facilitate the exchange of knowledge, promote cooperation and empower farmers.
The voices/ stories of farmers highlighted on agriculture narrative tells us how farmers have used innovative agricultural methods and have benefited from government schemes to assist in their agricultural practices, as well as shared stories of community-driven agriculture’s transformative power. The aim is to inspire and demonstrate the stories of Indian farmers, create a sense of pride in farming profession and promote perseverance in farmers. In short, it provides a platform for cultivating India and celebrating farmers.
The Agricultural Infrastructure Fund Scheme was launched in 2020, aimed at reducing losses for the development of management infrastructure after harvesting harvests, facilitating farmers to realize better value, attracting investments for building innovation and agriculture infrastructure in agriculture. Under this scheme upto 2025-26 through banks and financial institutions ₹ Total amount of 1 lakh crore has been made available. The scheme is given by banks ₹ For loans up to 2 crore, 3% of interest is the provision of grant and credit guarantee fee paid by banks.
