The meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) of the Pak in Jadhav case took place on Wednesday as per the report of the Pakistani newspaper Express Tribunal. In addition to Sharif, Army Chief General Waist Javed Bajwa, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Jubar Hat, Navy Chief Admiral Muhammad Jacullah, Airforce Chief Suhal Aman, Pak’s Intelligence Agency included Chief Lieutenant General Naved Chief of ISI.
– In this meeting on behalf of the government, Defence Minister Khwaja Asif, Finance Minister Isaac Darer, Interior Minister Choudhury Nisar Ali Khan, Planning Minister Ahsan Ekbal, Advisor of Foreign Affairs of PM Shrif Sartaj Ajiz and National Security Advisor Lieutenant General (Retired) Nasir Khan Janjua veiled.
Adhoc judge in ICS will unveil
– Pak’s Attorney General Attar Ausif Ali had reported the Parliament Committee on National Security on May 30 that Pakistan would appoint adhoc jazz in ICJ and they would have made themselves the Legal Team of Pak.
– The NSC meeting also discusses which adhoc jazz to be unveiled for ICJ. The names of many former judges were considered for this.
Pittion in PAK Supreme Court for hanging soon
– Pitation has been filed in Pakistan’s Supreme Court a few days ago to hang Kulbhushan Jadhav as soon. These pitiations have been filed towards a lawyer Mujami Ali. The Supreme Court should order the Government to take action as soon as possible.
- The Pitesher has also requested the Supreme Court that if the hanging sentence is over, the order should be given as soon as possible.
What is the case?
– The Military Court of Pak has sentenced to spying the Jadhav and hanging in charge of anti-country activities. India says Jadhav was unavailed from Iran. He was doing business in Iran after retirement from Indian Navy.
– However, Pakistan claims that Jadhav was arrested on 3 March 2016 from Balochistan. Pakistan has accused Jadhav of spreading and spying in Balochistan.
– Senior Advocate Harish Salvey from India’s side in the International Court filed a pitiation on May 8. India had demanded that Jadhav should be banned before the marit of India’s side.
