8275 Inspection in 13 days; Proceedings in 664 episodes, Enter FIR in 5 cases
The statewide intensive investigation campaign is being undertaken to prevent the creation and sale of non-standard compost, seeds and pesticides. This campaign released from the last 15th November in the last 13 days 8275 fertilizer warehouses/sellers, fertilizer manufacturing units, seed warehouses/sellers and pesticide medicines warehouses were observed. Checking parties assembled a total of 6059 samples during inspection and proceeded under the fertilizer properties control order due to irregularity in 664 episodes. FIR has also been recorded against vendors concerned in five episodes.
As per the information received, 3307 fertilizers were inspected by the bases of warehouses and vendors in the last 13 days during the campaign and proceeded on irregularity in 240 episodes. 24 samples were inspected by 16 units of fertilizer manufacturing. Similarly, 3563 seed warehouses and vendor bases were checked by 2906 samples and proceeded in 149 episodes with irregularity. 570 samples were inspected by 1389 warehouses of pesticide drugs and the proceedings were ensured when irregularities were found in 275 cases.
