Launch of newly-made composite building of Collectorate in Emerald by Chief Minister
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan released the newly-made composite building of Rs 7 crore 12 lakhs of District Collectorate today in the emerald and land-selected rural group water-delivery scheme of Rs 196 crore 37 lakh. He released and landed the development works of Rs 320 crore 32 lakhs on this occasion. The Chief Minister distributed interest of more than 3 crore to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes.

Chief Minister Shri Chauhan announced in the district-level Antyodaya fair on the occasion that the magnificent Diamond Park will be built in the Emerald District. The district hospital will be upgraded to 300 beds. The Town Councils of Ajaygarh, Kakarhati and Devendra Nagar will be given Rs. 2 crore to one crore for development works. In the Official College of Ajaygarh, the new building of the Faculty of Science will be formed and the classes of the Subject of Science in the Government College of Amanganj will be started. Chief Minister said that the dismantlement of revenue and forest border disputes in the emerald district is ensured by the rationalization method
The Chief Minister addressed the Adar Jan-Group present in Antyodaya Mela, saying that one lakh new posts will be admitted this year in the state. He said that 50 percent of the post will be reserved in the recruitment of teachers for women and 33 percent in police recruitment. The Chief Minister also informed various schemes and decisions of implementing schemes and farmer-plan and agriculture development to benefit the schemes of governance to unorganized workers.
50% of budget for poor welfare
Shri Chauhan said that 50% of the annual budget of the state will now be spent on welfare programmes of the poor. State Government will provide all necessary facilities and assistance to workers. He told that hard proceedings are being carried out on the Gonda elements. Arrangements for the punishment of the fascists are also being ensured.
