Starting from April 10, 60 days will be purchased

Approval has been received from the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare for purchase of Mustard at a minimum support price in the PRESS SUPPORT Scheme (PSS) in Rabi Season 2017-18 in the state. The work of procurement of both of these coins as per approval will begin from April 10, which will last 60 days.
Purchase of maximum mustard by Central agencies in the state will be Rs. 3 lakh 90 thousand 400 MT and one lakh 36 thousand 808 MT. To purchase at a minimum support price in the state, the State Government has made extensive arrangements for the convenience of farmers at the centres purchased in addition to agricultural yields.
The Union Ministry of Agriculture has issued instructions to NAFED, Indian Food Corporation and SFAC for purchase at support price.
