25 Lakh MT Wheat Deployed, 80 Percent Wheat Transport
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan lauds the outstanding eclipse work of
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan has instructed that the Bank does not deduct more than 50 percent of the amount of outstanding loan of farmers from their crop amount sold by farmers under Rabi Uparjan. Also, provide them with loan for the next crop on zero percent of interest as per the scheme of governance immediately. He said that in the present round of the corona crisis, wheat submarine is being done in the state. In 15 days of Gehupran, 25 lakh 15 thousand MT wheat has been commissioned in the state and 80 percent of its transport has also been transported. Also, the amount of Rs. 991 crore has reached the accounts of farmers. For this, he appreciated the whole age associated with the work.
5 Lakhs 20 Thousands of farmers bought wheat
Shri Shivshekhar Shukla, Chief Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, stated that 25 lakh 15 thousand metric tonnes of wheat have been purchased from 5 lakh 20 thousand farmers in the state. The amount of Rs. 1640 crore for payment to farmers has been resigned to banks, out of which Rs. 991 crore has reached the accounts of farmers. 80 percent of the subordinated wheat have been transported.
No hassle to farmers
The Chief Minister said that we are purchasing the farmers at a cost of uninterrupted wheat. They instructed that they have found some soils at the time of harvesting due to the farmers’ crops fall. The purchase of this type of wheat is also arranged. There is no disturbance to farmers.
Purchased from Mustard yesterday
The Chief Minister informed that the procurement has commenced from today in the state at the support price of Chana and Masoo. The purchase of mustard will begin from tomorrow. He directed Chief Secretary Agriculture Shri Ajit Kesari to ensure all necessary arrangements in this regard.
