CM gave Rs.882.74 crore crop sum assured to the bank account of 1.11 lakh farmers
Sahagat of construction works of more than 117 crore cost found to Shajapur district
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan today said in the crop insurance amount distribution ceremony at Kalapipal in Shajapur district that I understand the pain of the farmers. The farmer sheds perspirations working in farms while shackling the different season. He said that I will give the farmers a complete price of their hard and sweat. The hard work of farmers will not be wasteful.
Shri Chauhan transferred a crop sum of Rs 882 crore 74 lakhs of Kharif Year 2017 to Bank accounts of a lakh 11 thousand farmers in Rajgarh and Shajapur district at the ceremony. He also distributed certificates of insurance claim amount to farmers. Shri Chauhan also made e-Shinyas and e-Lokarand of 22 construction works of over Rs 117 crore of Shajapur district.
Farmers’ Outstanding Electricity Billed Zero
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan told the vast mass-group of farmers that the old all outstanding power bill of farmers in the power bill waiver scheme has now been zeroed. Now farmers have to pay real electricity bills up to Rs 200 per month. He said the suggestions will be invited from all sections of the society, including farmers to make the task of developing the next 5 years. Shri Chauhan also informed the Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Scheme, Saral Bill Scheme, Electricity Bill Waiver Scheme, Transfer Payment Scheme and Krishak Samriddhi Scheme on this occasion. The Chief Minister said that the farmers are headed towards making the siblings a business of profit and establishing a farm-based industry to their children, the state government will accompany them at every step.
The entire colony of Malvanchal crops will change
Shri Chauhan said that the impossible task of putting Narmada’s water into the Kshipr River has been shown by the State Government. In the Dewas, Ujjain, Shajapur and Agra districts, Narmada-Kalicind Part-1 and Part-2 for irrigation and Narmada-Malwa-Gmbhir Part-1 and Part-2 and Narmada-Malwa-Kshipr Part-2 have been prepared a comprehensive scheme of irrigation. Irrigation facility will be available in 14 lakh 20 thousand acres of Malavanchal in various stages from the scheme. He said that having ensured the smooth arrangement of irrigation will change the entire colony of crops in Malvanchal in the next 5 years.

Meena and a large number of farmers were present.
