Bhopal:
Shri Gopal Bhargava, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, has reported that cashless arrangements have also been implemented in the villages of the state. All types are paid through online portal by Gram Panchayats. Shri Bhargava reported that Rs 9 thousand 970 crore has been paid through portal in various items by 22 thousand 816 Gram Panchayats so far.
Shri Bhargava reported that the concept of e-Panchayat in Madhya Pradesh is long ago applied. The online web-portal ‘Panchayat Mirror’ is operated through NIC to maintain purity and transparency in accounting work in Panchayats. It has speeded up and vendors are getting timely payments.
