Minister of Farmers Welfare Shri Bisen launched the training campaign
Shri Gaurishankar Bissen, Minister of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development, said the Government has completed the challenge of increasing agricultural production in the state. Improved marketing of farmers is also being arranged. He said that now it is necessary to financially empower farmer product groups. Shri Bissen said that the National Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (NABARD) can play an effective role in the work. Kisan Kalyan Minister Shri Bisen was addressing the launch program of the training campaign of Kisan Product Group today. Shri P.C. Meena was also present on this occasion.
Mr. Bissen, Minister of Farmers Welfare, said that Madhya Pradesh has made specific identification across the country in terms of agricultural production. Madhya Pradesh has continually received the Agricultural-Employment Award for remarkable achievement in agriculture. While discussing the Zero Percentage Rate on Agriculture Loans, Shri Bisen said that farmers have provided a variety of facilities along with loans. Economic assistance has also been given to farmers in the Chief Minister's Krishak Samriddhi Scheme to give them the value of their produce. Kisan Kalyan Minister said the state government has also made effective arrangements for better marketing of the yield of forests in the state. Shri Bisen also honoured the superior agricultural product group of farmers in the state.
नाबार्ड के मुख्य महाप्रबंधक श्री एस.के बंसल ने बताया कि आज 10 जिलों के किसानों को प्रशिक्षण दिया गया है। ये किसान 31 जुलाई से 31 अगस्त के बीच चयनित जिलों के किसान उत्पाद समूह के 50 हजार किसानों को प्रशिक्षण देंगे। प्रशिक्षण में देश की प्रतिष्ठित संस्था बैंकर्स इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ रूरल डेवलपमेंट (बी.आई.आर.डी.) द्वारा भी प्रशिक्षण दिया जायेगा। श्री बंसल ने बताया कि प्रदेश में 160 किसान उत्पाद समूह काम कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा 200 नये किसान उत्पाद समूह जल्द ही काम करना शुरू कर देंगे। आने वाले तीन साल में 5 हजार कृषि उत्पाद समूह को आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त बनाया जायेगा। इन समूहों से 5 लाख किसानों को जोड़ा जायेगा। कार्यक्रम का संचालन मुख्य महाप्रबंधक श्री डी.एस चौहान ने किया।
