Review of Rabi Upkaran Action by Chief Minister Shri Chauhan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan has instructed to rationalize the centres purchased the support value of Chana, Masoo and Mustard. He stated that the Centres of Purchase are determined by estimating the need for purchases based on the number of farmers registered for sale at the support price. Shri Chauhan today was reviewing the Rabi-2018 harvesting system in the ministry. Shri Jayant Malaya, Minister of Finance, Kisan Kalyan and Agriculture Development Shri Gaurishankar Bisen and Chief Secretary Shri B.P. Singh was also present at the meeting.

Mustard, Mustard

The Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that the farmers bring the quality crops of chana, lentil and mustard to the purchased centres. In this regard, inform and educate them. The productivity of crops should be determined in accordance with local and behavioral realities so that the farmers can purchase the crop produced. Intensive monitoring of work will also be carried out so that the system cannot be disturbed. 14 lakhs 1 thousand 481 farmers have registered with Gana, Mysore, Mustard. Gana, Masoo, Mustard’s Byeign period is 10 April to 31 May 2018. All divisions in this period will have the maintenance work.

Wheat Processing

Shri Chauhan also took the information of the guest equipment. He said that the availability of bardons should be ensured based on advance assessment of the need for bardons. There is no disruption of any kind in the overhead system. 2,978 centres have been constituted in the state for wheat subregion. A total of 15 lakh 35 thousand 962 farmers have been registered. In respect of purchase, 3 lakh 9 thousand 943 farmers have been reported from SMS. 1 lakh 36 thousand 575 farmers have purchased 6 lakh 52 thousand 60 MT wheat. So far Rs 801 crore has been paid Rs 12 lakh.
