5 years of successful operation of the Pilgrimage Scheme
The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that passengers who have completed 5 years of pilgrimage will get a re-emergence of pilgrimage. Two lakh devotees per annum will be given pilgrimage in the scheme. The number of trains will be extended as required. Pilgrimages will be given kits of essential items during the visit. The destination will find a brochure of the historical, cultural significance of the pilgrimage. Nearby pilgrimages will also be combined with major pilgrimages in the root of pilgrimages. Travels will be organized by creating a package. If the legislator would like to visit the pilgrimage with the tributes, he will be inserted into the journey. Discussion with the Dharamsalas and the pilgrimages will also be included. Shri Chauhan today was addressing the ceremony held at the completion of 5 years of the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme in the free of Rhindra Bhawan. The Chief Minister instructed to make necessary changes to consider and make the journey more better than the facilities at the time.
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that the pilgrimage scheme aims to provide the elderly with the opportunity to enjoy devotion. Pilgrimage is the centre of religion. Here the mind and intellect are pure. The inspiration of the works is achieved. The happiness that meets the pilgrimage is not available from any worldly happiness. That is why all the religions in the Chief Minister's residence are celebrated with a pomp. Only the true pleasure of religion. He said that the honour of the elderly is the origin of Indian culture.
The Chief Minister awarded the 5-5 Elderly Women-Purush Pilgrimages in honour of the pilgrimages at the beginning of the programme by offering a floral gift to the Pilgrimages, discussing them about the experiences of the scheme. Congratulated the department for successful operation of the scheme.
Minister of Religious Trust and Dharmasw Swami Yadiraj Sindhia said that 5 lakh 3 thousand elders have been pilgrimage in the plan period of 5 years. 503 rail visits were organized for the visit of the pilgrimages. He said that those who had never imagined the darshan of the pilgrimages have been darshan of the pilgrimages and the Government of Uttar Pradesh has been working for the elderly parents.
Mr. Chandrama Das said that the desire for pilgrimage is of every person. The effort of the government is appreciated by the means of pilgrimage to the blinds. He paid gratitude on behalf of all Dharmagurus for the initiative of the Government.
