Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Insured Most 42 Million Farmers in the State
Sum Assured of Rs 55 crore 50 lakh to 43 thousand 850 farmers in Sihore District Approved
Under the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme, most 42 lakh farmers have been insured in Madhya Pradesh. Insured claims of Kharif 2016 have been paid under this scheme. The claim amount of 55 crore 50 lakh has been sanctioned to 43 thousand 850 farmers of Siher district in Kharif 2016. The average of Rs 12 thousand 657 insurance claim comes from the value of a farmer of the district. But as per Patwari light, the damage level was different and less than the sum assured was paid.
The Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme is made an insurance claim on the difference of actual crop productivity in the average productivity of the last 5 years (which is extracted from crop harvesting experiment).

Thus it is clear that the sum assured is paid as per the difference of actual yield by the value of crop harvesting experiments over the past 5 years as per the provisions of the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme. The sum assured gets lower when the harvesting difference is lower and the actual yield difference is higher then the claim amount is higher. It is also based on the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme area. Farmers are not planned.
