Launch of Swachhta Abhiyan by Chief Minister
CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan launched Swachhta Abhiyan today. He defeated the Jan-Jagruti Raths from the Chief Minister's residence to prevent cleanliness and water for the Bhopal district. On the occasion that the Ratha state village-gaon under the Swachhta Abhiyan will stop the water in the city-city and deliver the message of ‘Swachta Samvata’ to the public-video through the audio-video of the public gathering. Shri Alok Sharma was also present on this occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the birth day of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be celebrated as service-day in Madhya Pradesh on 17th September. On this day, service will be undertaken to prioritize cleanliness. Self Chief Minister Shri Chauhan will go into such areas in the rural area where there is still not enough construction of the toilets. Shri Chauhan will also go into a house where there is no toilet. The Chief Minister will make labour for the construction of the toilet there. The Chief Minister informed that the Minister-Prohibition members will also make labour for toilet construction. He said that it would be an effective effort to make the public vulnerable to cleanliness and toilet construction as the success of cleanliness campaign is not possible without the cooperation of the public.
Shri Chauhan said that the cleanliness campaign run by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has become a public-jan campaign. Madhya Pradesh is also taking a growing part in this campaign. He reported that the Indore and Bhopal city of the state in Swachhta Survey in the past days was ranked first and second respectively. Out of the total prized hundred cities in the country are 22 cities of Madhya Pradesh. Special efforts will be made between 15th September to 2nd October under this campaign in areas where the expected results have not been found. The Chief Minister said that every house is clean, it is necessary. That’s why Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay like Mahapurush also favors sanitation to be omnipresent.
