Indian agriculture is dependent on the uncertain carpet of nature, even after so much importance of agriculture in India. Since independence, the Government of India has given special emphasis on industrialization for the development of the country in which farms were backwards anywhere, however, for the development of agriculture, the Government of India has undertaken a number of programmes in which the Green Revolution (started in 66-67) was the largest scheme for the crop of farmers, which led to a new revolution in the field of agriculture and improved the state of agriculture that fell in India.
However, after such efforts made by the Government, there was no change in the form of Indian agriculture structure. A number of schemes related to the development of agriculture in India have existed, but they do not completely reduce the agriculture related risks and uncertainties of farmers. The Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme provides protection to farmers from a wide range of natural disasters (such as: dry, flood, rain, etc.). It accurately interprets all the crops that come to the end of insurance by removing the evils in the old plans.
