Strong power and coordination achieves success: Governor
Bhopal: Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel was awarded the World Book of World Record Award for the ‘Read Bhopal’ event in Raj Bhavan today. The officials of the World Book of Records Committee presented the certificate to the Governor.
The Governor congratulated and greetings to the Bhopals, saying that the work that is carried out with firm will-power, coordination, and trust, must be successful. If we are engaged in the service of the country and society, we can also achieve success in other areas. He said, Given the interest in this success and the common people, I decided that a committee will be created which will suggest the program to move forward.
Mrs. Anandiben Patel said there is no lack of talent in children. The requirement is to provide them the opportunity. Education should be changed to make children more rite and character. He inspired the Department of School and Higher Education to make coordinated efforts for the health and prosperity of students.
Shri Rajiv Sharma, Vice President of the World Book of Record, UK, said that the Bhopal event was like a Yajna. Bhopals have done the exemplary task of successfully conducting this amazing work. He said Dr. Radhakrishna and Swami Vivekananda had a great emphasis on the study of books. The importance of studying books cannot be reduced. Shri Rajiv Sharma said the need to create a book garden in Bhopal to read the book as a matter of joy and interest. Shri Santosh Shukla, President in India of the World Book of Record, said Raj Bhavan will be offered a thousand copies of the book using the truth of Gandhiji.
Commissioner Higher Education Shri Ajit Kumar said that the programme will be attempted to conduct the division and village level. He stressed to put the habit of reading the book to reduce more interest to TV in children. Commissioner’s School Education Smt. Jayashriyat said that the Governor has taken the necessary steps by organizing the Bhopal programme as per the interest and desire of the children.
The award programme presented the presentation by the Vice-Chairman of Government and Private Universities, Principals of Academic Institutions, Teachers, School & Higher Education Department.
