The relief amount to be given on the loss of crops and the loss of crops in the future has been increased by the State Government in February 2018. The revenue book in this regard has been amended to Circular Section-6 No.4.
Grant assistance will be payable equal to that value on the loss of low value crop as per order. A farmer shall not be less than Rs 5 thousand due in all crops cases. The first amount was Rs 2 thousand.
Similarly, economic grant assistance to any account holder on crop loss or loss of fruity trees, crops of oranges, nebus, papayas, bananas, grapes, pomegranates etc. taken on them to a maximum of Rs 20 thousand. The maximum limit for grant assistance was Rs 60 thousand.
