Bhopal:- State Government has given great relief to farmers. The defaulter of the state has waived an amount of interest of Rs 2650 crore of 17.50 lakh farmers. Now they will accumulate 50 per cent of the loan till 15th June, they will begin to get tax on zero per cent interest only. The cabinet approved the proposal in this regard on Tuesday. The amount of interest is waived under the agricultural solution scheme. Farmers will come in their periphery by 30 June 2017. 80 per cent of the amount waived of the interest of defaulter farmers will repay the state government and 20 per cent cooperative institutions. The debt of Rs. 7000 crore is outstanding on defaulter farmers in the state.
The Cabinet has decided to promote Rs.200 per quintal to 7 lakh 38 thousand farmers selling wheat in Rabi Season 2016-17. These farmers sold 67.25 lakh MT of wheat in the pavilions. This benefit will also be given to farmers on 16.59 lakh MT paddy sold in Kharif 2017. The amount of Rs. 200 of the incentive in the account of the farmers will be put into account by 16 April. This payment will have an additional load of Rs. 1676 crore.
Rs. 265 on wheat and gram, lentils and mustard will get Rs. 100 incentives amount
In the Krishak Samriddhi Scheme, registered farmers who will be be bench wheat in the pavilions between 26th March to 26th May 2018 will be given an incentive amount of Rs.265 per quintal as per quintal. It is special that wheat will be given to all farmers at a higher price even if at a minimum support price in Mandi. Similarly, the farmers will get Rs 100 per quintal on sale of gram, lentils and mustard between 10 April to 31 May. This amount will be to farmers till 10th June 2018.
Continued Small-Large Ponds of Bhopal and the restoration of the drains
Scheme for pollution-freeing of wastewater project, TT Nagar & Habibganj Sewage Project, large and small pond of Bhopal City, Panchsheel drain cleaning work under National River Conservation Scheme will continue till 2019-20. For this Rs 39 crore 65 lakh has been sanctioned. The scheme was launched in 2017. Under this, the functions of water drainage are also being carried out in Shivpuri Urban Body.
30 New Bases to Become in Urban Areas
The formation of 43 new tehsils in 30 urban areas has given theoretical acceptance. Indore and Bhopal in metropolis, two new bases will be formed in the five-five, Gwalior and Jabalpur in three-three and Ujjain Urban Area. Similarly, urban bodies with more than one lakh but less than 5 lakh population will become one-one new tehsil in Dewas, Satna, Sagar, Ratlam, Riva, Katni, Singaruli, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Murana, Bhind, Fold, Shivapuri, Chhindwara, Vidisha, Chharpur, Mandsaur, Damoh, Neemch, Hoshangabad, Kharagon, Sihore, Bethul, Savior, and Datiya. Each new Tehsil has approved 16 new posts. These will have four-four posts of tehsildar, additional tehsildar, NB tehsildar, auxiliary grade-1, office, vehicle driver, two auxiliary grade-2, an auxiliary grade-3 and allowance.
550 posts of NB Tehsildars
The Department of Revenue approved 550 posts of NB Tehsildar and 191-191 new posts of Assistant Grade-3 and Bharadya.
Amount of Rs. 11 crore 16 lakh will be spent on the farmers whose land was in the submerged area in the buck medium irrigation project.
Rs. 261 crore 49 lakh for the implementation of academic activities of training institutions and infrastructure development of institutions operating under the School Education Department.

The new name ‘Kalani’ has been given to display the honour of the ‘Calani’ under the ‘Chief Minister’ welfare assistance scheme. The incentive amount of Rs. two lakh will be given for welfare marriage incentives. As well as Rs.300 per month for their economic protection from 18 to 79 years and Rs.500 per month will be given when over 80 years of age.
