How affordable does our everyday needs come from today after GST is implemented?

New Delhi. Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been implemented from 1st July across the country. Most of the food items in it will be cheap. Fruits, vegetables, pulses, wheat, rice etc. will remain tax free as before. However, products like chips, biscuits, butter, tea and coffee have to be taxed up to 10%. Tax on edible oil will take less than 7%. Home-making goods will take up to 8.75% tax on cement, plyboard, tiles, but the rest will decrease on things. What is GST?

Where does GST apply now?
Now all state GST laws have been passed except J&K. In Ease, it will be applicable throughout the country, leaving Jammu and Kashmir.
UPA did the first time in the 2006-07 budget
The idea of GST is about 30 years old. However, it was first reported in Kelkar Task Force in 2003. For the first time in the 2006-07 budget, the UPA government had included the GST proposal. From April 1, 2010, GST was said to be implemented across the country. In 2011, Pranab Mukherjee had introduced it to Parliament while the Finance Minister.
Tobacco product will take 28% tax as well as upto 290%
– Raw oil, petrol, diesel, ATF, natural gas and alcohol are excluded from the scope of GST.
– The tax on cement, ply, tiles will increase. But the rest of the house will be cheap.
– 204% ses on the knuckle, 60% on pan spices while this rate for tobacco is up to 71-204%. 28% GST separating.
– 290% SES in addition to 28% GST on tobacco mixes filled in cigars and pipes.

– In 28% tax slab from today to 19 per cent item, 81 per cent of the goods in 18% and below slabs. 3% tax on gold.

The launch of GST is being described as a change in the country’s economy. It is said that modern India’s historian will set the country’s history into two parts – India after the implementation of independent India and GST before GST.

He stated that GST would no longer have long rates of trucks in front of the chungs in India, tax would not be taxed above. The price of an object will not vary in different state. The price of the country will be one.

हर विशेषज्ञ के पास अलग-अलग राय है. हर नेता की समझ अलग है. लेकिन जीएसटी क्या है, इससे फायदा क्या होगा, ये अधिकतर व्यापारियों और ग्राहकों की समझ से बाहर नज़र आता है.

कुछ ने कहा जीएसटी पुराने वैल्यू एडेड टैक्स की तरह है. अधिकतर लोगों का फोकस था 28 प्रतिशत टैक्स जो उन्हें मंज़ूर नहीं था. कई ज़रूरी वस्तुओं पर ज़ीरो टैक्स को सभी नज़रअंदाज़ कर रहे थे.

कुछ ने ये भी कहा कि जीएसटी भी नोटबंदी की तरह है. एक दुकानदार ने कहा, “जब नोटबंदी लागू हुआ तो किसी को नहीं मालूम था आगे क्या होगा. अब जीएसटी लागू हो रहा है. किसी को नहीं मालूम आगे क्या होगा”.

जिन लोगों को जीएसटी की जानकारी थी वो भी कह रहे थे कि आगे यानी 1 जुलाई के बाद क्या होगा ये कहना कठिन है. इसका विरोध भी हो रहा है. मगर वित्त मंत्री कहते हैं शुरू के चंद महीनों में कुछ कठिनाइयां हो सकती हैं लेकिन जीएसटी को वापस नहीं लिया जा सकता है.

  1. जीएसटी काउंसिल ने 1200 से ज़्यादा वस्तुओं-सेवाओं के लिए टैक्स दरें तय की हैं.
  2. अलग-अलग टैक्स श्रेणियां बनाई गई हैं जो 5 से 28 फ़ीसदी के बीच हैं.
  3. इनमें से 81 फ़ीसदी चीज़ें 18 फ़ीसदी टैक्स दर के नीचे आएंगी.
  4. खाने की बुनियादी चीज़ें, मसलन दूध, नमक और अनाज वगैरह को ज़ीरो टैक्स कैटेगरी में रखा गया है.
