Complete Guide to Management and Care after Sowing Soybeans

1. Preliminary crop care, disarmament and weed management
  • Number and Distance: Maintain the number of 4 to 4.5 lakh plants per hectare in the crop. For low spread varieties (e.g. JS 93-05, JS 95-60), keep a distance of queue from 40 cm and 45 cm for more spreading varieties (e.g. JS 335, NRC 7, JS 97-52).
  • Mechanical weed control: Keep the harvest free from 30 to 45 days after sowing. For this, run Dora/Kulpa in the field.
  • Chemical Weed Control:
    • Immediately after sowing (PPI/PI): Pendimethylin 3.25 liters/h, Metalochlor 2.00 liters/h, Clomazone 2.00 liters/h. Or sprinkle at the rate of 26 g/h.
    • 10-15 days on harvest: Chlorimeuran ethyl 36 g/hectorair.
    • On a harvest of 15-20 days: Use 1.00 liters/h, Quizalope Ethyl 1.00 liters/h or Phenoxyphap-p-ethyl 0.75 liters/hectore.
2. Nutrient and Fertilizer Management
  • Balanced Quantity: On the basis of Soil Testing 20:60-80:40:20 (Nest: Suffur: Potash: Sulphur) adopt the ratio of kg/h.
  • Organic Manure: Mix 10-20 tons of gour’s manure/nadep or 5 tonnes of vermicumpost at last tillage.
  • Top-dressing (Urea): Use 50 kilograms of urea as required for the fulfillment of the sternum with the Dora running 7 days after germination.
  • Micronutrient (zinc & Sulphur):
    • Add zinc sulfate at a rate of 25 kg/h.
    • Spray a single super phosphate (400-500 kg/h) or gypsum 200 to 250 kg/h for the fulfillment of sulfur.

Symptoms of deficiency of magnesium (Magnesium - Magneez)

Symptoms of deficiency of magnesium (Magnesium – Magneez):

  • The portion between the veins (veins) in the old (lower) leaves begins to turn yellow, while the veins remain green.

  • Leaves gradually begin to dry by red-purple or brown.

Signs of iron deficiency

Signs of iron deficiency:

  • New (upper) leaves contain intervenal chlorosis (intervenal chlorosis)—The main veins of the leaf remain green but the middle part becomes yellow/white.

  • The whole new leaf falls white/yellow when there is a greater reduction and the crop growth stops.

Symptoms of lack of potash (Potassium - Potash)

Symptoms of lack of potash (Potassium – Potash):

  • The edges of the old (lower) leaves (margins) and the syrups appear to be yellowed (burn/scorch).

  • The edge of the leaves begins to turn, the stem becomes weaker and the ability to fight diseases and droughts in plants is reduced.

Sulfur - Salfar

Characteristics of the reduction of sulfur (Sulfur – Salfar):

  • The new (upper) leaves become light yellow or light green (distinguished by the lack of iron, the veins are also yellowed).

  • The growth of plants slows down, the stem becomes thin and tightened and the amount of protein and oil is affected in granules/fruits.

3. Water Management & Protection
  • Drainage and Water Conservancy: Make a kund (groove) after every 5-6 queues at the time of sowing from ordinary seed drill. Deepen this hump while running Dora, making it easier to drain in excess and protect moisture in low rain conditions.
  • Revolutionary stages of irrigation: Do not let the crops grow and become a dry condition when they are filled with the foliage.
4. Pest & Illness Control (IPM Approach)
Use 500 liters of water per hectare (or 7-8 tank 15 liters per beag) for spraying.
  • Biological & Mechanical Control:
    • Apply 20-25 ‘T’ sized thorns per hectare in the field to sit birds.
    • Use 10-12 pheromone trap and light trap for pest monitoring.
  • Chemical Control:
    • Blue Beetle: Chlorpyrifus or Qinalphas 1.5 liters/hectare.
    • Girdle Beetle (Cycl Brung): Trizophas 0.8 liters/hectare.
5. Harvesting and harvesting management
  • Characteristics of brewing: The harvest is prepared by ripening in 80 to 110 days according to the variety. Change the color of the legumes and harvest the harvest on the leaves yellowing.
  • Seed Storage: Store donations in a safe place after the wheat.
