Chief Minister Shri Chauhan took place in the development journey by land of 282 crore works
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that all possible efforts will be made by the State Government to protect the interests of farmers in the state. Rakba of irrigation in the state has grown to 40 lakh hectares today. It will be further enhanced. The Chief Minister was addressing a large number of attending villagers and farmers in Antyodaya Mela during development visit in the Tarana of Ujjain district today. He announced that the water will be taken from the Narmada-Ghanbir project for adequate arrangement of irrigation for each village of Tehsil. The Chief Minister said that irrigation will be planned separately for the villages that will survive. Chief Minister Shri Chauhan landed and lodged construction works of 282 crore in the fair. Shri Chauhan transferred about 80 crores to accounts of about 75 thousand farmers in Ujjain district on the occasion.
Shri Chauhan said that each poor man in Madhya Pradesh will have his own residential plot and houses. While informing the schemes driven for welfare of farmers, Shri Chauhan said that the transfer payment scheme has been appreciated nationally. Several states have studied the scheme by sending the delegation to the state. He expressed hope that the transfer payment scheme will be beneficial for the farmers of the whole country.
The Chief Minister informed that the benefits of the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana have been found over twenty-five lakh daughters. This daughters will be given an amount of Rs. 31 thousand crore when 18 years are. He said that a person mistreating daughters has been directly sentenced to the Phansi’s Bill passed in the assembly of the state. In case of safety of women and daughters, negligence will not be tolerated at any stage.
Developmental Announcements by Chief Minister
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan announced the status of Tehsil to Macdon in Antyodaya Mela. At the same time deciding the 11 ponds of the area, sanctioned the nest-karthi Mata-Shajapur route, the ITI of MacDoon’s sub-agricultural yield Mandi of agriculture produce Mandi, commencing the commerce faculty at MacDoon College, sanction of road construction for connectivity of various villages in the region, testing of Borkhedi dam scheme, sanction of necessary funds for the building of the interpreter association, village Goddi, Tejlakhri, Kathdi and more than one thousand Chief Minister’s scheme.
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan entrusted certificates to various beneficiaries. In the Bhattar Payment Scheme, the certificate of the transfer amount of Rs. 77 thousand 36 to the agri Pearlsingh Panwar Gram Salakri, a national saving letter of Rs. 18 thousand to the NRI, Shri Dinesh Joshi of Gram Khatikhri and Mrs. Tejkunwar, a key to the Prime Minister's housing built at a cost of Rs. 20 thousand. Mrs. Sitabai of Village Diudri handed over the key of the tractor of the scheme of the Department of Agriculture. Shri Govindsingh and Shri Balunsing Anjana presented a loan certificate of Rs. three lakhs in the scheme of Leaptop and Veterinary Department to Kumeg and Nirmala.
On this occasion, Minister of Energy Shri Pars Jain, MP Dr. Chinstamani Malviya and Dr. Satyan Jantia, Mahamandeshwar Shri Phanand Bharti, MLA Sarvashree Anil Phojia, Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Dr. Mohan Yadav were also present.
