Shri Chauhan launched the "Simple Electricity Bill" and the "Chief Minister Outstanding Electricity Bill Waiver" scheme
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the state government has turned its treasures towards the poor. The budget will be part of the poor in the state. The Madhya Pradesh has a unique and new revolution of the welfare and justice of the poor, which is seeing the whole country. Shri Chauhan today was addressing the state-level launch ceremony of the Simple Electricity Bill Scheme and Chief Minister’s outstanding power bill waiver scheme in the Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) scheme. He also distributed certificates of outstanding power bill waiver to the beneficiary in the event.

The Chief Minister said that the cases of electricity theft and illicit connections against the poor will be returned.
Simple Electricity Bill Scheme
Workers registered in the Chief Minister Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) scheme will be eligible in simple electricity scheme. There will be no charge to take new electrical connections. Eligible consumers will have to deposit the amount of actual bills when the power bill of Rs.200 per month or less power bills. Consumers with air conditioners, consumers using heaters and over 1000 watts will not be eligible for this scheme. Beneficiaries will get the benefit of the scheme in August of the bill of July month.
Over 5000 crore electricity bills of poor will be waived
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that people did not get electricity in the preceding government. We have arranged enough electricity. The poor bother the more outstanding amount of electricity bill. The state government has decided that the electricity bills of poor workers can be waived by camping in July and August months and they will be given a certificate of zero electricity bill. Starting today in the state. More than 5000 crore bills of the poor will be waived. 40 lakh houses for poor in four years
Chief Minister Shri Chauhan said that the state government has planned a strong plan to give strength to all the poor. The scheme will provide all the facilities to the poor. The state government had planned to give the poor one-piece wheat, rice and salt. Now no poor on the ground of Madhya Pradesh will remain without housing. The owner of the land will be created by giving the ground strap to the poor. The poor will be housed in cities. On the ground of the lease, all the poor within four years will be given a paved house. For the poor in the next four years, 40 lakh houses will be built in the state and no poor will remain without the land.
Son-daughter fee of the poor will be filled with the state government
The fee of the son- daughters of the poor in the Sambal Scheme will be filled with the State Government. On the birth of the child, labourers sisters will be given Rs. 12,000 as obstetric assistance to the child’s birth first and after delivery. Free treatment of poor labourers will be arranged. On the death of a member under 60 years of age in the working family, two lakhs will be given in case of death in the accident, four lakhs and Rs. five thousand will be given in the form of assistance for the endeavour. He said that if the poor labour has been registered in the Sambal scheme, he should immediately do it.

Workers registered in Chief Minister Jan-Calyan (Sambal) Scheme and BPL Consumer Chief Minister will be eligible in the outstanding Electricity Bill Scheme. The scheme will have a waiver of the original outstanding and surcharge amount in the event of June 2018.

मुख्यमंत्री श्री चौहान ने प्रतीक स्वरूप कुछ हितग्राहियों को शून्य बिजली बिल के प्रमाण-पत्र और उज्जवला योजना के हितग्राहियों को नि:शुल्क घरेलू गैस कनेक्शन के लाभ वितरित किये। ऊर्जा मंत्री श्री पारस जैन ने कहा कि शून्य बिजली बिल योजना में 5,200 करोड़ रूपये के बिजली के बकाया बिल माफ किये जा रहे हैं। योजना से करीब 81 लाख परिवार लाभान्वित होंगे। कार्यक्रम में पंचायत एंव ग्रामीण विकास मंत्री श्री गोपाल भार्गव, सहकारिता राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्री विश्वास सारंग, महापौर श्री आलोक शर्मा, जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष श्री मनमोहन नागर, सांसद श्री आलोक संजर, विधायक श्री रामेश्वर शर्मा और प्रमुख सचिव ऊर्जा श्री आई.सी.पी केसरी सहित बड़ी संख्या में अन्य अन्य जन-प्रतिनिधि और गरीब वर्ग के हितग्राही उपस्थित थे। समारोह के मध्य क्षेत्र विद्युत वितरण कंपनी के प्रबंध संचालक डॉ. संजय गोयल ने आगन्तुकों का आभार प्रदर्शन किया।
