Gaud said that when the onion’s steep harvest was being destroyed, some of the migrants from Rajasthan were passing through their farm with the rapture of the animalkeeper sheep. According to Gaud, he was getting a value of Rs 2.5 per kilogram of onion in the bulk of Indore. If he sells his crop from the village to the city’s demand, he gets an extra loss of Rs 15,000 per beigh as he also has to pay the onion from the farm, pruning, filling in the sacks, transportation costs. He said, "In these circumstances I decided to destroy the harvest itself in the field, because I wanted to increase the burden of my losses. I’ve decided that next time I won’t cultivate onion.
